In January, we had a surprise visit from some friends from Nagoya, Japan. We showed them around the island and brought them to Liliha Bakery for dinner. If you haven’t heard, we became sister chapters with Nagoya JCI a couple years back. It has been great connecting with international members.

Ward Village’s Festival of Giving, held Friday, Nov. 4 to Sunday, Nov. 6, was a fundraising event to help local nonprofit organizations. Shoppers could purchase Festival of Giving passports for $10 to gain access to holiday deals from participating merchants, with 100 percent of the proceeds from the passport sales donated to charity organizations.
